Born in October 1947 I lived in an orphanage until I was adopted in July 1948. I think my artistic instincts were first influenced by the music my adopted parents listened to when I was a toddler. Stravinskys’ The Firebird suite with beautiful cover art , Mussorgskys’ Night on Bald Mountain in Disneys Fantasia inspired me. At the age of eight my father left my mother and I, seeking greener pastures. I was essentially raised by my mother with her intellectual passions and her unending support for my insatiable curiosity.
